On October 25th, IFPMA launched the Global Health Progress portal that represents the continuous work of the industry to improve healthcare practices worldwide.
Global Health Progress is a center of knowledge and interactive resources in which:
- There are more than 20 programs using digital solutions in healthcare matters.
- More than 200 intersectoral collaborations between innovation and the biopharmaceutical industry stand out.
- More than 850 members participate.
This collective work in the biopharmaceutical industry is crucial to advance the progress and transformation of healthcare systems.
On the other hand, this new knowledge center supports the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) among which are: improving the quality of life and longevity of people, allowing people to access education and the labor market, producing economic benefits for countries, among others.
Thus, the SDGs benefit the ways in which healthcare is provided and received, in the accessibility to new treatments and in the technologies employed through the innovation approaches of the industry that meet patients’ current needs throughout the world.
